Valogix Announces Equity Infusion from Pegasus
December 17, 2007 - Saratoga Springs, NY USA - Valogix, Inc. announced today that an affiliate of Pegasus Capital Advisors L.P. made an investment in the company. Valogix develops advanced inventory planning and optimization solutions. These solutions dramatically improve positive cash flow, are easy to use and automate the entire inventory planning and replenishment process. Valogix solutions have achieved SAP Certified Integration status and are sold in more than 14 countries. These solutions are in use in industries like wholesale distribution, retail, aftermarket service and maintenance and repair operations.
Jeffrey Scott, a Pegasus Operating Advisor that is leading the firm’s deal generation efforts in Upstate New York, sourced the Valogix opportunity for Pegasus. The Valogix founders have been early innovators in inventory planning, optimization and predictive analytics. A second company, Stratman Software, was formed to commercialize the software products and was acquired by i2 Technologies (ITWO) in 1998.
