DELIVER NEW INVENTORY TRANSFER MODULE FOR SAP® BUSINESS ONE

Valogix announces the availability of a new module to manage inventory stock
transfer requests in SAP Business One. The VALOGIX® Inventory Transfer Module
for SAP Business One is being offered in collaboration with SAP Business One
sales partner Coastal Range Systems, Inc. of Burnaby, British Columbia. The
module automates the complete process required for transferring inventory
within a company's multiple distribution or retail locations. Originally
developed by Coastal Range Systems for its customer, Van Leeuwen Pipe and Tube
in Edmonton, Alberta Canada, the module is now available globally from Valogix.
Valogix's advanced planning solutions automatically create a
forecast and recommended replenishments to ensure optimal inventory levels are
maintained at all locations. The Inventory Transfer Module, in conjunction with
VALOGIX® Inventory Planner, enables SAP Business One users to
optimize their inventory investment by managing both the purchasing of new
inventory and the intra-company transfer of inventory from one location to
another. With the new inventory transfer functionality SAP Business One users
now have the ability to approve transfer requests, print a pick list, define
and print a packaging list and Bill of Lading, and receive the stock.
Vern Klein, the Managing Director of Van Leeuwen Pipe and
Tube, has been running live with SAP Business One for a year and has now
adopted the Inventory Transfer module for their multi-warehouse environment.
According to Klein "The Inventory Transfer add-in is an excellent enhancement
to support distinct documented shipping and receiving processes with provision
for an adequate approval function and the time factor needed in the transfer
process."
