July 23, 2007 - Saratoga Springs, NY - Valogix announced today that the shareholders have unanimously approved the addition of Howard A. Schmidt to the Board.

Howard Schmidt is a world-renowned cyber security expert. Most recently, Howard has served in the position of chief security strategist for the U.S. CERT Partners Program for the National Cyber Security Division, Department of Homeland Security. He has also served as vice president, chief information security officer and chief security strategist for online auction giant, eBay.

Schmidt retired from the White House after 31 years of public service in local and federal government. In December 2001, he was appointed by President George W. He assumed the role as the chair in January 2003 until his retirement in May 2003.

Prior to the White House, Howard was chief security officer for Microsoft Corp., where his duties included CISO and CSO, as well as forming and directing the Trustworthy Computing Security Strategies Group. Before Microsoft, Schmidt was a supervisory special agent and director of the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) Computer Forensic Lab and Computer Crime and Information Warfare Division. While there, he established the first dedicated computer forensic lab in the government.

He is featured regularly on CNN, CNBC and Fox as well as local media outlets, and is recognized as one of the pioneers in the field of computer forensics and computer evidence collection. Howard is currently President and CEO of R & H Security Consulting and serves on the boards of several corporations.

"Howard brings a strong knowledge of business processes and leading-edge thinking that will provide us the additional global expertise we are seeking," stated Richard Vaccaro, President and CEO of Valogix.
