Valogix imports Bill of Material (BOM) records from your ERP system and establishes the level of a component i.e. Finished Good (Level 1), Sub-Assembly (Level 2), Raw Material (Level 3) and so on. It accommodates a component with different levels in different bills, with unlimited depth.

Valogix can derive BOM component usage or import direct usage from production documents:
Derive – At the BOM component level, usage history is derived from sales history of all Make-to-Order or Make-to-Stock BOM parent items x (times) quantity for each component needed.
Direct Usage – Component usage is directly imported from production documents such as a work or production order.
The selected method of ‘Usage’ history is added to any independent sales history of the component. A components forecast is based on its aggregated usage/demand.
